Health Savings Accounts

Once you have established a qualified High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) it is important to set up your Health Savings Account (HSA) right away to ensure the tax deductibility of future health expenses.  All that is required is that the HSA is established, it does not need to be funded, and medical and other qualified expenses after you do so can then be 100% tax deductible.  Click here for an article that address this in more detail.

I recommend HSABank to set up your HSA.  They are an online bank specializing in HSAs, have no enrollment fees or minimum requirements and only charge $2.50/month maintenance, which is waived for balances over $3,000:
    Employers have the option of group online enrollment
